If it's a pc that can run Steam, it will probably do. I know something as lowly as a Radeon 9200 will play HL2 quite well.

Her PC is a P4 3.06, 512RAM and an NVidia 8600GT. I have no idea if it will run it or not :S

It ran fairly well on my old Athlon 2800xp, 512 megs of ram and a Raedon 9600.
